Who is Amaleiiii
My name is Leynie Lavache and I go by Amaleiiii when I create.
I am a digital artist and a painter.
What is my work about?
My work is all about the exploration of self. To be more specific I use art to discover my preferences in real time. Which is why in almost each drawing or painting my style is a little bit different. When I draw digitally I love using experimental brushes. When I paint, I love the challenge of blending and finding the right colors.
Why do I make art?
I create for many reasons but a primary one is because I want to find who I am and share that with the world in order to encourage others to be themselves.
A lot of my work explores themes of womanhood; whether idealized or realistic. Themes of nostalgia and adventure are also present in my work and most recently for my painting collection I’m drawing my best memories in nature.
My abstract work is a pure expression of my creativity all made without references, solely what I feel inside. It’s me baring my soul to the world through art by expressing bold colors and complex and intersecting shapes and lines. This shows the chaotic nature of everything I hold inside after so long of not being able to express myself for various reasons.
